Dear friends, How quickly my three months of Sabbatical have gone by! I am most grateful to the Methodist Church for such a generous gift - it has enabled me to rest and sleep, to spend precious time with loved ones and in the last month to be with my Mum in her recent very serious illness. God has restored my soul and I am now ready again to respond to

The Superintendent’s Letter

 Our churches are on the south side of the River Tees in North East England, an area known for its heavy industry and petrochemical plants. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and coast, a community spanning inner city to idyllic rural villages, with a population drawn from Asylum seekers to Artisans, Students to Surgeons and Mechanics to Millionaires.

The funeral of Mrs Shirley Teasdale will take place at The Avenue Methodist Project on Tuesday 1st August at 9.45am followed by the committal at St Bedes Chapel.
